Department: IT Support, Infrastructure & Security Location: Office, Avonmouth/Filton Description We are seeking an experienced Boomi Integration Developer to lead, design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions across a diverse IT landscape. This role plays a critical part in enabling seamless data exchange between Diverse Enterprise Applications, and other internal/external platforms. As a Boomi SME, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement and optimize integrations using Boomi AtomSphere, supporting our digital transformation and business agility goals. What Will You Do? • Collaborate with cross functional teams including product, data engineering, ERP, Retail and CRM to understand integration needs and translate them into scalable solutions. • Lead the design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management of integration workflows using Boomi AtomSphere, connecting ERP, PIM, eCommerce, and SaaS platforms. • Design and implement complex data mappings, transformations, and validations to ensure data accuracy and flow integrity. • Manage full lifecycle integration components—frameworks, connectors, exception handling, error logging, and retries. • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure uptime and reliability across production and staging environments. • Document integration designs, technical specifications, and deployment procedures. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards, processes, and governance. • Define data governance, logging, and exception handling strategies for integrations. • Guide and mentor team members and vendors on Boomi practices and reusable architecture. • Collaborate with external integration partners including Boomi Professional services The Perfect Candidate • 5+ years of experience as an Integration Specialist, with 3+ years using Boomi in production environments. • Proven expertise in building end-to-end integrations involving ERP, PIM, CDP and eCommerce platforms. • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, API keys), and data transformation logic. • Excellent knowledge of API orchestration, asynchronous messaging, and middleware performance optimization. • Knowledge of Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, API Management, Data Factory. • Experience working with agile methodologies. • Experience of Master Data Management systems and integrating to them. • Familiarity with common tools such as Postman, Swagger, and version control (e.g., Git). • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes in complex, distributed systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a collaborative, distributed team setting.
