Job Overview: We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Brand Account Manager to lead brand partner relationships and drive marketplace performance. This role goes beyond traditional account management—it's part strategic advisor, part project manager, and part business analyst. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams to bring marketplace strategies to life and act as the connective tissue between brand vision and execution. Success in this role requires excellent communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to proactively guide clients through complex e-commerce challenges. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the strategies we’re executing on their behalf. Key Responsibilities: Client Partnership & Strategic Guidance • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of brands, developing strong, trusted partnerships built on results, transparency, and thought leadership. • Be a proactive advisor—helping brand partners identify opportunities, navigate trade-offs, and make smart prioritization decisions that move the needle. • Understand the brands channel strategy, assortment configuration, and expansion goals to deploy tactics that are aligned with growth across all channels. • Represent your brand partners internally—ensuring their priorities are championed and their brand vision is consistently reflected in all deliverables. Marketplace Strategy & Performance Planning • Lead the development of holistic marketplace strategies that align with each brand’s goals, category dynamics, and growth stage. • Translate broad objectives and constraints into actionable roadmaps with clear deliverables, timelines, and KPIs. • Analyze advertising and sales data to generate insights, measure performance, and inform next steps. • Present strategies and reporting in a digestible, well-structured manner that empowers clients to make informed decisions—even if they’re new to the space. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution Oversight • Act as the operational glue between internal teams—ensuring that strategy, advertising, creative, and operations are aligned and moving forward together. • Proactively communicate needs and timelines, planning ahead to give teams the time and clarity needed to execute successfully. • Take full ownership of deliverables: know when to deep dive and problem-solve independently vs. when to delegate or escalate. • Anticipate bottlenecks, remove blockers, and maintain momentum across a dynamic slate of brand partner initiatives. Required Qualifications: • 4–6 years of experience in account management, brand management, or marketplace strategy—preferably in an agency or fast-paced e-commerce environment. • Deep working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Marketplace platforms. • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect business objectives to specific e-commerce tactics. • Proven ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and tell a story with insights that inform action. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead client conversations, simplify complex topics, and influence decision-making. • Highly organized and accountable; skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities without dropping details. • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and a genuine desire to help brands grow. Bonus Points For: • Experience in CPG or Digitally Native Brands • Familiarity with advertising tools like Pacvue, Perpetua, Helium 10, or similar. • Previous experience managing paid media strategies and performance optimization. • Strong understanding of retail media and broader digital marketing concepts.
