Role description
Position Overview DDAM is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Brand Assistant & Coordinator to join our fast-paced clothing brand team. This part-time, hourly position offers hands-on experience in fashion retail operations, e-commerce management, and business administration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a varied work environment and contribute directly to the founder's daily operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities Administrative & Operations Support: - Assist with diverse daily operational tasks and special projects - Manage inventory tracking, fulfillment, and logistics coordination - Maintain organized filing systems and databases using Excel and Google Drive - Handle multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities Customer Relations & Communication: - Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues via email - Maintain professional communication standards representing the DDAM brand - Coordinate with customers regarding shipping, returns, and product questions Logistics & Transportation: - Conduct regular driving assignments for business operations (significant driving component) - Pick up inventory, supplies, and handle various errands - Coordinate deliveries and vendor relationships Technical & Analytical Tasks: - Learn and utilize various e-commerce platforms and business software - Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking sales, inventory, and operations - Assist with data entry and analysis projects Content Creation & Social Media: - Create engaging founder-focused content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) - Capture and edit photos and videos featuring the founder for personal branding and promotional materials - Assist with founder content planning and scheduling across digital platforms - Maintain consistent aesthetic and messaging for founder's personal brand presence Qualifications Location & Availability: - Must reside within 30 minutes driving distance from our office and operational locations - Flexible schedule availability - able to work more or fewer days as business needs fluctuate - Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Drive/Google Workspace - Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software platforms - Comfortable with technology and digital tools - Ability to create and edit content for social media platforms - Basic photo and video editing skills (familiarity with editing apps/software preferred) Professional Attributes: - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong multitasking abilities with excellent time management - Problem-solving mindset - able to research and resolve complex issues independently - High-stress tolerance, especially during peak business periods (product drops, sales events) - Professional communication skills, both written and verbal - Go-getter attitude with proactive approach to identifying and solving problems - Genuine kindness and positive interpersonal skills - able to work harmoniously with team members, customers, and vendors - Self-motivated with ability to take initiative without constant supervision Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or fashion industry - Familiarity with inventory management systems - Customer service experience - Interest in fashion and brand development Work Environment: This position operates in a dynamic, fast-growing business environment where priorities can shift quickly.
