About the Role
TWE seeks a dynamic, collaborative, and creative Brand Manager to join our team serving the Americas region (USA, Canada, and LATAM)
The Brand Manager will work cross-functionally with Retail Sales, On Premise Sales, Trade Marketing, PR & Events, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, eCommerce, as well as external partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive brand planning: Set brand planning calendar, coordinate cross-functional activities and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
• Achieve Creative Excellence: Develop, maintain, and consistently communicate compelling brand propositions and USPs.
• Be Consumer Obsessed: Collaborate with insights teams and independent agencies to form a holistic, proprietary understanding of the consumer and translate those insights to actionable strategies and tactics.
• Quarterback across teams: Direct collaborative initiatives across internal and external groups, including Americas Marketing Teams, Sales, Field Marketing, Promotions, Digital, Production (winemaking, supply, and procurement), 3TE, DTC, Winery/Hospitality, Creative Agencies (advertising, shopper, digital, packaging), Public Relations, Insights, Legal and Global Marketing.
• Own Brand Health & Performance: Stay on top of industry activity, trends, and maintain superb knowledge of category landscape.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador: Present brand plans and objectives to internal and external audiences to build belief and buy-in.
• Innovation: Anticipate future trends to stay ahead of competition and identify growth drivers and white space opportunities to maximize brand potential.
About you
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA desired or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brand Marketing or related functions.
• Proven working experience as Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager.
• CPG experience with management capabilities on national brands and deep knowledge of online and retail sales channels.
• Prior experience with global brand marketing (central/HQ or end market) preferred Adult Beverage / Wine experience a plus.
• Strategic and conceptual; Must possess a high level of creativity.
• Competency to lead agencies in creating consumer focused (digital, PR, etc.) and retail programs.
• Experience with IRI or AC Nielsen reporting and analysis, or similar systems.
• Analytical and can extract insights from a wide range of data to support business decisions and identify issues and opportunities.
• Develop and execute large marketing programs under tight timelines.
• Work in a large, global matrix organization.
• Can lift a case of wine (40-45 pounds) on occasion.
Strong preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area or a major metropolitan city within the following states: CA, FL, TX, NY, MA, OH, NJ, NC, GA, IL, AZ, VA, CO, PA, MI, MD, WA, SC.
