Position Summary
Netcracker Technology is looking to hire a BSS Solution Architect, with experience in the full life-cycle for Telco solutions. This role will be the SME representing Netcracker in front of our customers. This position can also assume involvement into solution delivery activities as well as Pre-Sales.
Role And Responsibilities
β’ Identify business needs, propose solutions to meet the needs, by leveraging capabilities of NetCracker and our partners
β’ Define end-to-end architecture of the customer solution
β’ Ensure that the selected solution architecture, approach to development, data migration and user transition fit the budget and time constraints, and are aligned with risk tolerance level
β’ Enforce and follow implementation methodologies, propose industry best practices and guide customer to the best solutions
β’ Ensure solution integrity at all stages of the software development lifecycle
β’ Ensure that the implemented solution enables the customer to realize the benefits as planned in the business case
β’ Interact with product, support, consulting and partner teams to find best ways to address solution requirements.
β’ Participate in the RFx process: prepare technical part of the response, propose solution and implementation approach, create WBS and estimate the effort to implement the solution
β’ Drive thought leadership through innovative solution approaches
β’ Stay up-to-date with the industry trends, standards, methodologies, third-party software and tools
β’ Actively contribute to regional engineering practices and knowledge centre
β’ Serve as an escalation point for all technical issues on the customer account during sales and project delivery
β’ Represent NetCracker as a general industry Subject Matter Expert
β’ Travel to customer sites worldwide
Required Experience
β’ 5 or more years of experience delivering cloud OSS, BSS and/or NFV solutions and working with operators in North America, Europe or Australia
β’ 5 or more years working at a telco, cable provider, ISP, software vendor or system integrator
β’ Experience building solutions in one or more of the following areas: CRM, CPQ, e-Commerce / Self-service, Product Catalogue, Order Management, Rating / Charging, Billing
β’ Experience with deploying solutions in one or more of the major public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
β’ Experience implementing Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions is a plus
β’ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong strategic and analytical skills
β’ Ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex environments
β’ Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organization levels
β’ Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunications marketplace
