Purpose and Objectives for the Role The Business Analyst will play a key role in capturing and translating business requirements into actionable deliverables that align with Big Ticket’s digital product strategy. The BA will work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and prioritise features, ensuring that business objectives are met and value is delivered efficiently. In addition to supporting the website product roadmap, the BA will contribute to other strategic initiatives, providing consistent analysis and stakeholder engagement across programmes. Overall Responsibilities β€’ Gather, document, and validate business requirements for new and enhanced website features. β€’ Facilitate stakeholder workshops to capture needs, align expectations, and define priorities. β€’ Support roadmap prioritisation sessions to ensure alignment with business objectives. β€’ Participate in backlog grooming, ensuring requirements are clearly articulated and ready for development. β€’ Support sprint planning sessions, ensuring development teams have a clear understanding of feature scope and acceptance criteria. β€’ Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of requirements, workflows, and processes. β€’ Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables meet quality standards. β€’ Provide analytical support and documentation for other strategic projects across the business. β€’ Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Skills Required β€’ Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a digital product, e-commerce, or technology environment. β€’ Strong facilitation skills for workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and sprint planning. β€’ Ability to produce clear, concise, and structured documentation (e.g., BRDs, user stories, process maps). β€’ Experience working in Agile environments with backlog management tools such as Jira or Trello. β€’ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. β€’ Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, dependencies, and potential risks. β€’ Familiarity with UX/UI concepts and customer journey mapping is an advantage. Qualifications Required β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. β€’ Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus. β€’ Experience in a BA role, preferably in digital commerce or product development.
