Role description
Business Development Manager (Remote USA) We're a full-service agency looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business from end to end—qualifying leads, leading discovery, and closing high-value projects. You'll be the first point of contact for prospects and play a critical role in growing our client base with DTC and B2B brands. What You’ll Do • Own the full sales cycle: lead gen, qualification, proposals, and closing. • Convert inbound leads and referrals into long-term clients. • Drive outbound outreach to identify ideal Shopify Plus prospects. • Lead discovery calls, pitch meetings, and proposal presentations. • Collaborate with project and dev teams on SOWs, pricing, and technical scope. • Confidently speak to Shopify Plus features and eCommerce best practices. • Work with Shopify Partner Managers and other ecosystem stakeholders. • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to project delivery. • Track pipeline and performance using tools like HubSpot or Pipedrive. What We’re Looking For • 3+ years in agency sales, ideally within digital/eCommerce. • Proven ability to sell complex Shopify Plus solutions (e.g., replatforms, custom builds). • Strong grasp of Shopify's technical landscape. • Clear, persuasive communicator who can pitch and build trust with execs. • Skilled in creating tailored decks, proposals, and scopes. Bonus Points • Experience with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Jira, or Asana. • Background in verticals like fashion, beauty, automotive, or lifestyle. • Existing Shopify ecosystem connections.
