Job Title: Catalog Data Analyst – Product Data (B2B)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Catalog Data Analyst with a strong background in Product Data Management within B2B environments to support the digital and operational catalog systems. This role is essential for maintaining and optimizing high-quality product data across multiple systems to ensure seamless procurement, inventory, and sales processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PIM systems, catalog management tools, and a strong understanding of product taxonomy and attribute modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date product catalog data across ERP, PIM, and eCommerce platforms.
• Create, update, and manage product SKUs, descriptions, attributes, and classifications for B2B catalogs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, supply chain, product teams) and external vendors to onboard and validate product data.
• Standardize data formats and naming conventions to support search, navigation, and reporting across systems.
• Perform data quality checks, normalization, deduplication, and enrichment using catalog management tools.
• Ensure data compliance with internal governance rules and external standards (e.g., GS1, UNSPSC).
• Generate regular reports and dashboards for product catalog performance and quality KPIs.
• Support digital transformation initiatives including catalog automation and migration projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 4–7 years of experience in Product Data or Catalog Data Analysis, specifically in B2B domains (retail, distribution, manufacturing preferred).
• Hands-on experience with one or more PIM or catalog management tools (e.g., Salsify, Informatica PIM, Riversand, Stibo, inRiver).
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Deep understanding of product hierarchies, SKU lifecycle management, UOM standards, and attribute modeling.
• Ability to handle large volumes of product data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to interface with technical and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry classification standards such as GS1, UNSPSC is a plus.
