Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous, organised and reliable Catalogue & Marketplace Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of our product listings across multiple online platforms. Key Responsibilities:
Catalogue and Marketplace Management:
• Maintain, update, and upgrade product listings across platforms such as Sales Layer, Google Sheets, Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central, Tradebyte, Shopify, Zalando, Allegro, and our direct-to-consumer website.
• Set up new marketplaces, ensure seamless integration, and troubleshoot any marketplace-specific issues.
• Ensure product data accuracy, including descriptions, images, pricing, and attributes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and validate new & existing product information.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform ad hoc tasks related to catalogue and marketplace management.
• Maintain existing marketplace listings, ensuring adherence to the latest guidelines and best practices.
Product Creation & Optimisation (End-to-End Project Management):
• Oversee the product launch process from the launch decision through to the live product on the marketplace.
• Coordinate with various internal teams and external partners to ensure all aspects of the product launch are covered.
• Develop new product listings, ensuring they are SEO-optimised, aligned with marketplace guidelines, and follow best practices.
• Manage the translation process to ensure consistency across languages and regions.
• Coordinate the creation and management of creative assets, including images, videos, and other marketplace-specific materials.
• Lead the effort to ensure that all product information is accurate and compelling, driving both SEO performance and customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management:
• Liaise with external partners and internal teams to ensure seamless product data integration.
• Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align product listings with promotional strategies.
• Serve as the main point of contact for any external partnerships related to product listing management.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
• Develop and implement processes and systems to ensure accurate and efficient product listing activities.
• Analyse product data to identify opportunities for improving sales performance, conversion rates, and listing quality.
• Provide regular reports on catalogue performance and marketplace metrics, tracking improvements and highlighting areas for further optimisation.
Team Management:
• Oversee and manage a small, part-time remote team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide training and support to team members to enhance their performance and maintain consistent work quality.
