About the Client
Recfront is hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-growing, Venture Capital backed direct-to-consumer (D2C) health and wellness brand, seeking a visionary Chief Growth Officer (CGO). The company is on an exciting journey to scale from $10M to $100M in revenue and needs a leader with a proven track record of building high-performance growth engines in consumer-facing industries.
Role Overview
The CGO will own the company’s end-to-end growth strategy across acquisition, retention, and partnerships, with responsibility for driving revenue expansion in North America while laying the foundation for global scalability. While health, wellness, and fitness are at the core, we’re also open to leaders from adjacent D2C sectors like cosmetics, pharmacy, or lifestyle who have scaled high-growth startups.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute a growth roadmap to scale the business from $10M to $100M+.
• Lead customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV) strategies across digital and offline channels.
• Build, mentor, and scale cross-functional growth teams (performance marketing, brand, product growth, analytics).
• Optimize D2C funnels across web, mobile, and subscription models.
• Establish partnerships and collaborations in the health, wellness, fitness, and adjacent consumer ecosystems.
• Use data and analytics to make strategic growth decisions and maximize ROI.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on fundraising narratives, investor updates, and long-term growth strategy.
• Champion the brand’s voice, values, and consumer-first approach.
Qualifications
• Currently serving (or recently served) as Chief Growth Officer, SVP Growth, or equivalent leadership role at a high-growth startup.
• 12+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or commercial leadership roles.
• Proven success scaling a business from $10M to $100M+ in revenue.
• Strong expertise in India and North American consumer markets and digital-first D2C growth models.
• Background in D2C sectors such as health, wellness, nutrition, fitness, cosmetics, pharmacy, or lifestyle.
• Deep knowledge of performance marketing, product-led growth, lifecycle marketing, and partnerships.
• Data-driven, financially savvy, and able to build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
