Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Location: Remote Company: Primal Queen Salary Range: $150,000–$200,000 per year, with performance-based bonuses up to $100,000 Employment Type: Full-time, W2 About Primal Queen: Primal Queen is a rapidly growing, innovative women’s wellness brand focused on hormone balance, energy-boosting supplements, and overall health. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to drive our marketing strategy, lead our creative efforts, and manage the team that’s taking Primal Queen to the next level. Position Overview: The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams and external agencies. You’ll be a strategic leader, reporting directly to the founders, and will be instrumental in driving growth through creative direction, paid media strategies, influencer marketing, and continuous optimization of performance channels. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Ad Creative Department: Oversee the creation of new ad angles, concepts, and creative assets in collaboration with creative agencies, internal video editors, and UGC creators. • Optimize Paid Media: Focus on paid media strategy across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, and TikTok, working closely with media buying contractors to maximize ROI. • CVR Optimization: Lead conversion rate optimization efforts in collaboration with our CRO agency, web development, and landing page designers. • Influencer Marketing: Oversee influencer campaigns and seeding strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement. • Strategy & Execution: Develop new marketing initiatives to support aggressive growth targets, including A/B testing, media buying strategies, and identifying new audience segments. • Collaboration: Work with our performance and brand teams, agencies, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of marketing strategies. • Market & Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to keep Primal Queen ahead of industry benchmarks. • Team Management: Oversee key team members, including media buyers, ad creative agencies, influencers, and agencies for email/SMS marketing. Manage these relationships to ensure consistent performance and growth. Qualifications: • Proven track record in eCommerce marketing and scaling brands. • Extensive experience in ad creatives, media buying, email/SMS marketing, and influencer marketing. • Strong understanding of paid media strategy, particularly with Meta, Google, and TikTok. • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and data-driven decision-making. • Demonstrated success in team leadership and managing diverse marketing functions, both in-house and with external agencies. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. • A creative visionary with the ability to think strategically and execute operationally. • Bonus: Experience building in-house marketing teams as the company continues to grow.
