About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a visionary and data-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and scale our marketing function during a time of rapid growth and transformation. This is a unique opportunity to define the voice, brand, and go-to-market strategy of an innovative organization that is reshaping its industry.
As CMO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for building a high-performing marketing organization and driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market share across all channels. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team spanning brand, growth, product marketing, communications, and customer lifecycle marketing.
While we have a strong presence and collaboration hub in Colorado, we welcome remote applicants from across the U.S. who are willing to travel to Colorado for executive planning sessions and key team engagements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a bold, comprehensive marketing strategy that supports business growth, customer retention, and brand equity.
• Build and lead an integrated marketing team across brand, performance marketing, content, product marketing, and communications.
• Oversee full-funnel marketing activities and align strategies with sales, product, and executive leadership.
• Own brand strategy, voice, and positioning across all touchpoints and channels.
• Scale data-driven customer acquisition and retention programs using analytics, automation, and segmentation.
• Serve as the voice of the customer internally and help inform product and business decisions.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic growth initiatives and new market entry.
• Manage external agency relationships, budgets, and ROI measurement across all marketing efforts.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior or C-level role.
• Proven track record of scaling marketing functions in fast-growing B2B or B2C environments.
• Expertise in digital marketing, performance channels, brand strategy, and marketing analytics.
• Strong experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce), marketing automation, and campaign optimization.
• Exceptional leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in high-growth, VC-backed, or public companies is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce industries is a bonus.
Location & Work Arrangement
• Preferred: Hybrid in Colorado (Denver, Boulder, or nearby metro areas)
• Remote: Open to candidates across the U.S. who are able to travel periodically to Colorado for leadership offsites and strategic planning.
