We are seeking a world-class Chief Operations Officer (COO) to architect and lead our next phase of growth β across D2C, skincare, B2B, retail, and beyond. This role is designed with significant strategic scope and visibility, preparing the leader for broader executive responsibilities. For the right candidate, there is the potential to evolve into CEO succession planning as the company scales.
We are looking for a COO with deep experience scaling fast-growth eCommerce companies, including preparing organizations for strategic exits (e.g., private equity, acquisition, or IPO).
Role Overview
The COO will oversee supply chain, fulfillment, finance, ERP implementation, and customer service. This leader will implement systems that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience across all channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
β’ Lead end-to-end operations across all divisions
β’ Manage and develop a team including Ops, Fulfillment, CS, Amazon, and Returns
β’ Build systems and SOPs to scale operations with high efficiency and low error rates
Product Safety & Continuous Improvement
β’ Own product safety standards and ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory, safety, and quality requirements globally
β’ Lead cross-functional efforts to drive continuous product improvement, focusing on usability, durability, customer feedback, and compliance
β’ Partner with R&D and product teams to align improvements with brand and customer expectations
Supply Chain, Vendor Management & Procurement
β’ Own the entire supply chain, including vendor selection, contract management, and negotiation of terms
β’ Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring reliable performance and favorable pricing
β’ Negotiate lower costs of goods while maintaining or improving quality and speed of delivery
β’ Develop strategies to diversify manufacturing partners and reduce tariff exposure
β’ Oversee vendor compliance with product safety, labor, and ethical sourcing standards
Inventory, Demand Planning & Logistics
β’ Own demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory forecasting across all SKUs and channels

β’ Build a long-term strategy to optimize global fulfillment and last-mile logistics
β’ Monitor tariffs and trade regulations, proactively implementing cost-saving strategies and manufacturing diversification
Customer Experience & Support
β’ Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs for customer support (e.g., response time, resolution rate, CSAT/NPS)
β’ Drive a culture of customer-first excellence across the CS team
β’ Partner with the CS Manager to build robust onboarding, training, and QA systems
β’ Create programs that utilize idle CS rep time for abandoned cart callbacks, affiliate outreach, and outbound campaigns
Returns Strategy & Optimization
β’ Build a comprehensive returns tracking and reporting system
β’ Analyze return reasons and drive cross-functional solutions to reduce return rate and cost impact
β’ Explore refurb/repackaging programs to recover value from returns
Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement
β’ Establish feedback loops to capture customer insights and share them with product and marketing
β’ Use insights to improve manuals, unboxing instructions, onboarding flows, and support content
β’ Prioritize initiatives that improve usability, reduce confusion, and enhance post-purchase experience
Finance & Reporting
β’ Oversee financial operations for each business unit, including consolidated P&L
β’ Collaborate with finance/accounting to ensure clean books and tax readiness
β’ Build forecasting models, including cash flow, purchasing cadence, and vendor payment schedules
β’ Build financial models and operational readiness plans that support investor diligence, capital raises, or strategic exit opportunities
