Primary Responsibilities
The Client Application Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day support of e-commerce applications and sites. Will report to Director of E-commerce on the progress of e-commerce or variable data related projects. Will be responsible for tracking all time and related task/project details.
Qualification Requirements and Skills
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and related technologies (OrderForge, nopCommerce, Pressero, Chili Publish, Pageflex Studio, FusionPro).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS preferred.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Site & Product Management
• Set up sites, products (variable/static items, price schedules, categories), users, user groups, and vendors in platforms such as OrderForge (Engage), Pressero, nopCommerce (Empower), Chili Publish, and Pageflex Studio.
• Test all new sites and products to ensure functionality and accuracy.
• Provide basic front-end web development and troubleshooting (HTML, CSS).
• Support FusionPro workflows and template creation for variable data.
Documentation
• Create, update, and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation and knowledge base articles for ecommerce site features and processes.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and easily accessible to team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to gather information and clarify procedures for documentation.
• Standardize documentation formats and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal resources.
Client Support & Project Management
• Identify and assess client needs to ensure satisfaction and usability.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects, tracking time and details.
• Support Sales and CSRs with Navision-related ecommerce setup questions, collaborating with the Director of Administration or ERP Manager as needed.
• Communicate daily with Sales and CSRs regarding site maintenance and issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ecommerce site issues, coordinating with Sales, CSRs, or IT as needed.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Previous experience in ecommerce, web support, or a related technical field preferred.
• No licensing required.
