Key Responsibilities: Commercial Strategy & Revenue Ownership • Build and execute the commercial plan for the UK and European wholesale markets to achieve revenue and margin targets. • Pull together all components of the plan—sales, pricing, costing, margin, forecasting—and ensure end-to-end delivery. • Take full ownership of financial outcomes, with a detailed understanding of all cost factors, including landed costs, royalties, and supplier terms. • Collaborate with the product team to validate costs, determine pricing, and work out average selling prices by quarter. • Coordinate closely with sales, product, planning, finance, ecommerce, and regional teams to align execution with business goals. • Support ecommerce growth by identifying opportunities and ensuring alignment between wholesale and digital channels. Budget Planning & Forecasting • Prepare seasonal budgets by market and account, based on historical data, growth targets, and commercial strategy. • Forecast sales and margin performance across regions and product categories. • Align financial plans with product launches, seasonal shifts, and regional calendars. Sales Team Leadership & Coordination • Manage and align the regional sales team to deliver against revenue and margin objectives. • Guide sales planning and execution across UK and European markets. • Ensure strong coordination across teams and markets—sales, product, planning, and customer service. • Follow up and track the execution of commercial plans to ensure continuous alignment. Performance Tracking & Reporting • Monitor sales and margin performance on a rolling basis by account and market. • Analyse variances and provide data-driven insights to support better planning and execution. • Deliver regular reporting to senior stakeholders on commercial KPIs, regional performance, and ROI. Promotional & Markdown Strategy • Develop and manage promotional and markdown plans that support sell-through without compromising margin targets. • Oversee investments in trade marketing, in-season support, and incentives in line with commercial performance. Supplier & Cost Negotiation • Lead or support negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and cost structures. • Maintain full visibility of all cost components, including royalties, duties, logistics, and rebates.
