Role description
The Sage Group’s client, a beloved tech delivery company, is seeking a Consumer Email Marketing Manager.
About the Role:
On the Consumer Retention team, you will be responsible for communications and programs that increase the retention and engagement of our customers across email, SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging. You will be responsible for building CRM journeys that bring over proven experiments from the US to the Canadian market.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
• Understand the strategy and framework behind proven US CRM campaigns and the changes required to adapt to the Canadian market.
• Collaborate with Central partners, including Consumer Retention Strategists and Operators, Strategy & Operations, Data Analysts, and Product team members where necessary to understand how campaigns are set-up in order to port over.
• Use omni-channel marketing tools to build complex CRM journeys/workflows (Braze), including triggered-campaigns and automations, with static and dynamic content. Manage end-to-end development and execution of email/push notification campaigns.
• Includes driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments, and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Analyzing the impact of deployed initiatives on key business metrics like order rate and revenue, and creating and sharing performance reports with key stakeholders.
• Supporting creative ideation & iteration, including creative optimization with the help of internal creative resources.

• 4+ years experience in customer retention, email strategy and execution of campaigns, In-depth understanding of ESP/Marketing Automation platforms, Braze, Iterable a big plus and experiencing deploying complex CRM programs
• Experienced with data analysis, targeting and program measurement (preference for SQL proficiency)
• Understanding of how technical stacks work, with first principles thinking and strong logic in order to clearly brief, collaborate with and influence central product, engineering, data and analytics teams
• Results-oriented with an exceptional track record of developing profitable retention or cross-channel marketing programs and exceeding performance targets
• Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships and consensus on initiatives
• Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing campaigns end-to-end
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on experience with CRM technology, segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems
• Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with basic HTML and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Periscope)
Duration: through EOY
Location: 100% remote in Canada and USA
Compensation: $60-71.72 hour USD
