Role description
Overview We’re looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Content & Digital Merchandising Manager to lead our product content efforts across wholesale, retail, and ecommerce platforms. This role ensures our product data is optimized, consistent, and driving conversion, regardless of where our products are sold. You’ll be responsible for syndicating accurate product content, managing catalog performance, and supporting channel success through data-driven decisions and digital best practices. Candidate location: The ideal candidate lives within 150 miles of Madison, WI. Responsibilities Your day will include: • Manage digital product content across all selling channels, including retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer platforms • Own onboarding, development, and expansion of Product Information Management (PIM) systems for digital content syndication • Create and maintain high-performing product listings—titles, descriptions, bullets, specifications, images, and enhanced content—with an emphasis on SEO and conversion • Drive continuous improvement in product discoverability, content quality, and user experience across platforms • Actively manage content updates and requests from channel partners while resolving catalog issues in a timely and proactive manner • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment on promotions, launches, pricing, and product positioning • Monitor and analyze catalog performance and shopper behavior to identify content improvement opportunities • Document and improve catalog and content management processes by sales channel • Stay current with ecommerce and retail merchandising trends, platform updates, and compliance requirements • Serve as the subject matter expert on: • Digital catalog management and content syndication--retailer- and wholesaler-specific setup and attribute requirements Qualifications If the below says, "Me!", apply today: • Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 4 years managing digital content across ecommerce and retail channels • Demonstrated experience managing a 1P vendor product catalog on Amazon, Home Depot, Shopify and understanding of wholesaler needs a must. • Deep understanding of digital merchandising and content optimization strategies • Proficiency with product data management and content syndication tools (Salsify specifically but also knowledge of InRiver and Syndigo) • Strong knowledge of SEO, taxonomy, and user experience best practices for ecommerce • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and data lookups) and comfort with data tools • Familiarity with digital channel metrics, conversion analysis, and catalog performance KPIs • Ability to travel to Madison, WI on a quarterly basis or as needed LinkedIn Tag Claudine Baccheschi
