Role description
About the Role We’re a stealth startup and we're looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to help shape the future of our web presence. In this role, you’ll define and own the CRO strategy across our web properties—driving experimentation, optimizing performance, and crafting user journeys that convert. You’ll join at an early, foundational stage with a unique opportunity to directly influence product-market fit and go-to-market success. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to lead conversion strategies in dynamic, fast-moving environments. You’re customer-obsessed, comfortable working with ambiguity, and excited by the challenge of building and testing in real time. Salary range starts at $90,000 and up to $130,000, depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities • Architect and execute a holistic CRO strategy aligned with customer acquisition and activation goals. • Partner cross-functionally to evolve and optimize web experiences, messaging, and conversion paths—across pre- and post-launch initiatives. • Own a rolling experimentation roadmap, prioritizing impact-driven tests to validate hypotheses and drive growth. • Apply personalization and segmentation strategies to tailor digital experiences by audience, behavior, and channel. • Monitor performance data, uncover friction points, and implement solutions that improve the customer journey. • Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to ensure experiments are set up for scalable insights and learning. • Help define KPIs, implement measurement frameworks, and provide clear reporting on test performance and impact. • Support SEO and content marketing efforts by identifying high-impact opportunities for engagement and conversion. • Contribute to defining lean, repeatable experimentation and optimization processes that scale with the company. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience leading web strategy, A/B testing, and conversion optimization—ideally at a startup or high-growth tech company. • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution in fast-paced, evolving environments. • Hands-on experience with web tools like CMS (e.g. Contentful), A/B testing (e.g. Optimizely, Ninetailed), analytics (Google Analytics), and BI tools. • Proficient in experimentation frameworks, UX principles, and technical aspects of site performance (HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics, SEO, page speed). • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; fluent in turning data into insights and insights into action. • Excellent communicator with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and influence decisions. • Adaptable, curious, and energized by the ambiguity and opportunity that comes with building something new. Why Join Us? • Be Early – Join a early stage startup and help shape the foundation of a category-defining product. • Impact Matters – Every experiment, insight, and improvement you make will directly affect customer outcomes and company success. • Tech + Purpose – We’re building an AI-native company for revolutionizing digital marketing. • People-First Culture – We’re a small, sharp, and supportive team who value collaboration, transparency, and flexibility. • Competitive compensation, equity, and bonus potential • Generous PTO policy • Remote-friendly with hybrid options depending on location • A platform to bring your voice, ideas, and expertise to life We believe building a better product starts with building a better team. We're committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone can thrive and do their best work—regardless of background, identity, or experience. If you're excited about experimentation, data, and high-velocity learning—we want to hear from you.
