About The Role Vacation is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join its dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Brand, this role is pivotal in shaping and elevating the brand’s voice across all channels and formats. The Copywriter will be responsible for developing compelling brand storytelling and product-driven communications that resonate with diverse audiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the brand’s creative direction while supporting performance marketing and e-commerce initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a collaborative spirit, and a keen eye for detail. They should be organized, adaptable, and eager to contribute to building scalable processes that uphold the brand’s fun and vibrant aesthetic. The role involves day-to-day copywriting tasks, as well as ad-hoc creative projects in collaboration with various teams including Growth Marketing, Sales, Events, and Partnerships. This is a remote position, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States both now and in the future. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field • Successful completion of Vacation’s copywriting assessment • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite • Experience collaborating closely with creative teams and project managers • Strong understanding of brand and performance-oriented copywriting • Excellent grammar, proofreading, and editing skills • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times • Passion for sunscreen, sun care, and a good sense of humor • Desire to contribute to the growth of Vacation into a household name Responsibilities • Assist in developing and executing product marketing messaging across various touchpoints, including packaging, website descriptions, social media, retailer websites, and POS materials • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams on new product launches, including campaign concepts, photoshoots, and launch materials • Contribute to product ideation and naming processes to enhance brand appeal • Support the creative development of partnership and event initiatives, including concepting and presentation materials • Create engaging social media copy, including captions, content ideas, scripts, and print ad copy • Lead the copywriting and execution of email campaigns and blog content in coordination with the growth marketing team • Assist with retail activations, promotional campaigns, sweepstakes, social competitions, and OOH advertising • Help develop, implement, and optimize departmental processes and guidelines for consistent messaging • Manage internal and external resources such as copy libraries and brand guides • Support onboarding of new copywriters, freelancers, and agencies to ensure alignment with brand tone and standards Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience • Employee equity options • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage (100% for employees) • Annual stipend for learning and development opportunities • Work-from-home stipend to support remote work setup Equal Opportunity Vacation is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
