About The Role Vacation® is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our team remotely. Reporting directly to the VP of Brand, this role is pivotal in shaping and elevating the brand’s voice across all channels and formats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to craft compelling brand stories and product-driven messaging that resonates with diverse audiences. This position offers the opportunity to influence the brand’s creative direction while supporting performance marketing and e-commerce strategies. The Copywriter will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Growth Marketing, Sales, Events, and Partnerships, to develop engaging content that aligns with Vacation®’s fun, approachable, and innovative brand identity. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to scalable processes that enhance brand consistency and impact. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field • Successful completion of Vacation’s copywriting assessment • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite • Experience collaborating with creative teams, project managers, and external agencies • Strong understanding of brand and performance-oriented copywriting • Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and editing skills • Ability to adapt tone and style to match brand aesthetic and voice • Interest in sunscreen products and a good sense of humor • Desire to contribute to the growth of Vacation® into a household name Responsibilities • Develop and execute compelling product marketing messaging across various touchpoints, including packaging, website descriptions, social media, retailer websites, and marketing collateral • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams on creative concepts for new product launches, including photoshoots, campaign ideas, and launch materials • Contribute to product naming and ideation processes to enhance brand recognition and appeal • Create and manage social media content, including captions, concepts, video scripts, and print ad copy • Lead the copy development for email campaigns and blog content, working closely with the growth marketing team • Assist with conceptualizing retail activations, promotional campaigns, sweepstakes, OOH ads, and educational videos for retailers • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of departmental processes and guidelines • Create and maintain internal and external resources such as brand guides and copy libraries • Assist in onboarding new team members, freelancers, and agencies to ensure consistency in brand tone and messaging Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience • Employee equity options • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% coverage for employees • Annual stipend for learning and development opportunities • Work-from-home stipend to support remote work setup • Paid time off of 15 days, plus paid holidays • Complimentary Vacation® products to enjoy and share Equal Opportunity Vacation® is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment.
