The Creative Marketing Associate Director leads the end-to-end marketing strategy, plans and executes demand generation programs to grow market share and revenue across Consumer Mobility and Wireless products. This position will collaborate closely with internal teams like Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), Marketing Activation (MA), Consumer Marketing Insights (CMI), Media Strategy, Verizon Digital Marketing, and various business groups to deliver impactful messaging that differentiates our products/solutions in the marketplace. Additionally, this role will work with and manage external creative agency partners. Responsibilities As the Creative Marketing Associate Director, you will support the Senior Marketing Director on Verizon’s consumer product campaigns and be responsible for: β€’ Leading a team to develop priority campaigns that connect Verizon with customers and prospects. β€’ Developing, executing, and implementing marketing strategies and/or marketing programs (e.g., marketing campaigns). β€’ Driving market-wide programs to deliver against key business goals such as gross adds, product growth, and customer retention. β€’ Developing briefs for creative work in partnership with marketing activations, commercials and insights team, and leading briefing of creative agency partners. β€’ Working with and leading creative agency partner(s) in the development of world-class creative. β€’ Delivering the creative content and assets for the Verizon brand and products. What We're Looking For... A people leader and team player who can navigate across cross-functional teams, identify key stakeholders, and balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. A key go-to-person to fully own Consumer Mobility marketing initiatives. A leader who has the ability to work cross-functionally with both internal marketing and external agency teams. This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring frequent communication between internal and external partners. You'll need to lead teams and inspire collaboration to deliver breakthrough creative work that drives business results. You'll Need To Have β€’ Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. β€’ Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. β€’ Experience in creative/brand strategy and/or creative-specific account management roles. β€’ Agency and/or client-side experience leading creative development and ultimate output of world-class creative. β€’ Willingness to travel up to 20%. Even better if you have one or more of the following: β€’ Experience in wireless/telecommunications. β€’ Expertise in e-commerce and digital creative. β€’ Management of creative agency relationships. β€’ Expertise in leading marketing teams that have delivered full-funnel marketing strategies (brand marketing & performance marketing). β€’ Experience in client-side organizations. β€’ Ability to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents.
