Creative Strategist - Organic Video (Instagram, Youtube) Location: Remote Compensation: $150,000/year Equity: .5% vested over 4 years (currently valued at $1M+) Valuation: $200M Backed by: Top Silicone Valley Investors e.g. Y Combinator (YC), Liquid 2, Founder of Instacart, Founder of Reddit Stage: D2C SaaS healthtech with real traction $1M a month and compounding at 15% MoM TAM: $29.4B through 100M people in the US. Globally the addressable market grows to 600M people. Why This Role? We’re building the future of proactive health and already serving tens of thousands of paying customers every month through a DTC SaaS subscription model. You’ll step into a  profitable rocketship that’s gone from $0 to millions a month in less than 1.5 years. Our growth is through paid ads on Meta (mainly Reels) and now we need a world-class organic growth engine to compound it. There is no legacy nonsense, no bloated team, and no rulebook. You’ll write the organic playbook, build the team, and own the KPIs. If you’ve ever said “I wish I joined X startup at $1M/month” this is that moment. What You'll Do • Come up with themes/formats (viral series ideas) for Instagram Reels / Youtube accounts • Setup the Instagram/Youtube accounts. • Write the scripts/briefs for the short form videos • Either edit the videos, or pass the editing off to our video editors • Post the content • Analyze the content on all the accounts to figure out what is working or not working • Iterate + Scale Who You Are • 5-7+ years of experience building a short form organic growth engine at a fast-moving startup (preferably with a subscription model or health/wellness product). • Proven track record scaling organic revenue engines, you’ve taken a startup from $0 → $1M/mo and scaled past it. • Deep expertise in Instagram Reels short form video content and all the components required to get videos that drive sales posted. • Experienced with AI video generation and have the ability and desire to stay on top of the quickly evolving capabilities of different AI video generation tools. • Deep Intuition - your 5+ years of experience and passion for short form video content marketing has kept you close to the algorithm and gives you an intuition for what works. • Macro strategy is a bonus. However today we have no organic footprint and our biggest wins in the medium term will come from execution on the micro level - if you are not close to the algorithm this is not the right role for you. • Obsessed with storytelling, funnels, and conversions (sales). • Builder energy, you're happiest shipping MVPs, testing, and iterating fast. • You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and don’t wait for permission. • You haven’t even finished reading this post and you’re already reflexively ideating hooks, CTAs, angles, and video formats that might work for a DTC consumer health tech product targeted at an older audience.
