About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst specializing in Client Product Analytics to join our Product Analytics team within the Data Science and Analytics organization. This role is pivotal in measuring and enhancing the effectiveness of our products designed to simplify the home-buying and selling process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze product performance, identify opportunities for growth, and support the launch of new features aimed at accelerating our ecommerce sales channel, the Online Store.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills combined with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. They should be comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders, helping shape product strategies, and driving data-informed decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key business outcomes, optimize user engagement, and contribute to the company’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields
• 2-5+ years of experience analyzing data to answer complex business questions
• Proven experience in analyzing product feature performance
• Experience in consumer subscription or ecommerce businesses is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in SQL; knowledge of Python or R is advantageous
• Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Shiny, or Streamlit
• Experience working with cloud-based data environments such as AWS and Snowflake
• Strong technical and modeling skills, including Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Understanding of experimentation and statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced, and remote work environment
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to understand and analyze product performance metrics
• Identify, investigate, and interpret data trends, providing actionable insights to improve business outcomes
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using advanced techniques such as A/B testing, statistical modeling, and machine learning to evaluate product features and user interactions
• Forecast opportunities and size potential impacts to guide product development and strategic planning
• Collaborate with product teams to test new features, measure their effectiveness, and optimize user engagement and conversion funnels
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings effectively
• Monitor and analyze visitor engagement and conversion metrics, developing new KPIs as necessary
• Partner with data engineering teams to improve data architecture, platform capabilities, and testing environments
• Share best practices across analytics teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Create comprehensive analytic plans, conduct ad hoc analyses, and synthesize findings into clear summaries and presentations
