As we scale operations across MENA, Africa, and Europe, we are expanding our technology team to enhance platform features, improve user experience, and drive innovation. Role Overview We are looking for a Developer with strong expertise in Next.js (frontend) and Laravel (backend) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our B2B marketplace platform, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and Laravel. · Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. · Optimize application performance, security, and responsiveness. · Develop and integrate APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways. · Manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including queries, migrations, and optimization. · Ensure SEO-friendly architecture and smooth integration with marketing tools. · Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. · Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. · Participate in code reviews, testing, and version control (Git). · Contribute ideas for product innovation, scalability, and feature enhancement. Should have experience working in Wordpress sites.Requirements Technical Skills · Strong experience with Next.js (React framework) for frontend development. · Proficiency in Laravel (PHP framework) for backend development. · Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration. · Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL databases. · Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind/Bootstrap. · Experience with authentication & authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth). · Knowledge of cloud hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.). · Experience with SEO optimization and server-side rendering (SSR). · Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/GitLab workflows. Preferred Qualifications · Experience in eCommerce/Marketplace platforms. · Understanding of payment systems, logistics APIs, CRM tools. · Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture. · Knowledge of security best practices for B2B platforms. Soft Skills · Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment. · Good communication and collaboration skills. · Self-motivated with a growth mindset. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with Next.js & Laravel.
