Role Purpose
A creative and versatile Digital Content Producer to create, optimise, and manage content across our digital platforms for a major food retailer. The ideal candidate will be a digital storyteller with a sharp eye for detail, a flair for food content, and a strong understanding of what resonates with audiences online.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, build and optimise content for online, the app and in-store digital displays. Website content includes recipe pages, landing pages, and content hubs.
• Upload and optimise recipes, editorial and commercial content for SEO, keeping attention to detail.
• Monitor content performance using analytics tools, identifying opportunities for regular optimisation and innovation.
• Maintain and update the digital content calendar and asset library, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and well-organised.
• Support the production of video-first content, in collaboration with creative teams.
• Provide digital admin support to the Digital Lead, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
• Source and verify image rights from internal and external libraries; crop and manipulate images where needed (basic Photoshop skills is a plus).
• Refresh and maintain content across guides, collections, and feature pages to ensure discoverability and alignment with seasonal and campaign priorities.
• Collaborate with editorial, design, and marketing teams to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints .
Required Skills And Experience
• 3–5 years’ experience in digital content production, ideally within food, retail, or lifestyle e-commerce environments
• Proven ability to manage digital content from concept to delivery
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft on-brand, engaging content across formats and channels
• Proficient in using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, AEM), project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and a working knowledge of HTML/CSS and UX best practices
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and confident in optimising content for discoverability and performance
• Skilled in basic photography, image editing, and motion/video tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut), with experience briefing creative assets when needed
• Confident interpreting content performance data and applying insights to refine future content
• Comfortable collaborating with designers, copywriters, and marketers, and managing feedback from stakeholders across departments
