Location: Dearborn Department: Marketing Reports to: Sr. Manager, Brand Creative Content Job Classification: Remote FLSA: Exempt Job Band: Professional Job Summary The Digital Copywriter position is responsible for creating full-funnel copy across all D2C channels while leading the messaging for Carhartt Reworked, the recommerce initiative started in 2023. This position works closely with cross-functional partners to deliver best-in-class work on-time, on budget, and on-brand. Associate Responsibilities • Lead copywriter on Carhartt Reworked, creating messaging for all channels including Reworked.Carhartt.com, email, retail, paid social, DR, and PMAX. • Create copy for Carhartt brand-side D2C monthly full-funnel messaging needs. • Develop messaging for internal communication needs. • Maintain consistency of brand tone and voice across all D2C channels and between the Carhartt and Carhartt Reworked brands to ensure alignment at every touchpoint. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to better understand the business challenges and goals to help inform messaging while providing input on messaging strategy and briefs. • Concept and help produce larger seasonal brand and product campaigns. • Present creative work to Marketing, Media, Product, and Leadership. • Work with internal and external agency partners to deliver consistent and efficient results on time and on budget. • Fearlessly defend the Carhartt brand voice while adhering to and enforcing brand standards and guidelines. • Remain current on all advertising, social, and cultural trends and how it may affect future creative. Required Education • Bachelor's degree or Portfolio School in communications, marketing, advertising, or related discipline or equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required Skills & Experience • 3-5 years of advertising/marketing copywriting experience across all digital media platforms. Ideal candidate has previous experience writing for both the ecommerce and retail spaces. • Strong creative portfolio with fully-integrated campaign work – examples of full-funnel D2C messaging a plus. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, thorough attention to detail, strong prioritization, project management skills, and the ability to set and meet tight deadlines. • Team player with willingness to pitch-in on occasional quick-turn assignments and unforeseen needs. Physical Requirements And Working Conditions • Typical office environment; office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required • Willing to work some evenings and weekends if necessary • National travel required (up to 5%) • Carhartt is a tobacco free workplace • This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site.
