Position OverviewWe are seeking a Head of Sales to lead client acquisition and drive revenue growth. This role is best suited for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. You will own the sales strategy, manage the full cycle from prospecting to close, and have the opportunity to shape the sales function as Novum Media scales. This is a commission-based, independent contractor role with the potential to expand into building and leading a team of sales representatives. The upside is significant for someone motivated by results and income potential. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute outbound and inbound sales strategies to generate new business opportunities. Identify and pursue new client opportunities in e-commerce, hospitality and service industries. Conduct discovery calls, deliver proposals, and close client contracts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive renewals and referrals. Track leads and opportunities in a CRM system, ensuring accurate pipeline reporting. Provide feedback to leadership on market trends and client needs. Collaborate with account management to ensure smooth client handoff post-sale. (Future scope) Recruit, train, and mentor additional sales reps as the business scales. Requirements 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in marketing, SaaS, or agency environments. Proven track record of sourcing leads and closing new business. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset: motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently. CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Comfortable with commission-based compensation and motivated by high-earning potential. Compensation Commission-based model: 20% of first month’s collected revenue on new client contracts. 5% residual commission on months 2–6 for retained clients. Example: Closing a $6,000/month client contract generates ~$1,200 in gross commission upfront, plus $300/month residual payments. High earning potential — top closers can earn $80k–$150k+ annually with consistent deal flow. LocationRemote (U.S. applicants preferred).
