About The Role
The Account Manager at Cro Metrics is a strategic partner responsible for managing a portfolio of client relationships with a focus on measurable impact, retention, and revenue growth. Acting as the primary point of contact, the AM deeply understands each client's goals, challenges, and industry dynamics to proactively guide work that aligns with business outcomes.
They lead cross-functional Cro Metrics teams to deliver high-quality services, monitor performance against KPIs, and surface opportunities for expansion. By combining insight, foresight, and strong communication, Account Managers ensure client success and long-term partnership health.
What You’ll Do
• Manage Client Relationships: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary contact for Cro Metrics clients, building long-term, trust-based relationships. Translate client goals into actionable roadmaps and proactively align internal teams to deliver outcomes. Demonstrate an understanding of each client’s business model and KPIs, regularly surfacing insights and opportunities for improvement and expansion.
• Project & Service Delivery: Own day-to-day account execution across functions, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to contract hours. Proactively manage scope creep, identify delivery risks, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain quality and profitability.
• Strategic Account Planning: Create and execute strategic account plans that tie client needs to Cro Metrics offerings. Identify and qualify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and lead internal alignment around growth strategy. Support proposal development by crafting value-led narratives that demonstrate return on investment.
• Reporting & Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients by providing regular updates and performance reports. Lead status meetings and review sessions to keep clients informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Manage essential documentation—including contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and meeting notes—to maintain alignment and accountability.
• Financial Management: Track account financials, ensuring alignment with scoped hours, forecasted margin, and billing cadence. Flag risks early, lead resolution conversations, and partner with finance teams to ensure client satisfaction and internal performance.
What You Need
• Experience managing multiple client accounts with revenue ownership
• Previous experience in account management, client services, or a similar client-facing role
• Comfort presenting to senior client stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to handle multiple accounts and prioritize tasks
• A/B testing knowledge is a plus
• Professional services (agency) strongly preferred
• Web analytics experience is a plus
