As market demand for our digital marketing services expands, we are seeking a highly technical Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team and help drive data-driven success for our clients.
About the Role
As a Digital Marketing Specialist (Technical Focus), you will implement and optimize digital marketing strategies centered on analytics, SEO, paid media, and reporting. You’ll collaborate with development and project management teams, serve as a technical liaison for clients, and deliver actionable insights to enhance digital performance.
What You’ll Do
• Execute and refine SEO strategies: technical, on-page, and off-page to optimize website performance and search rankings.
• Implement, configure, and analyze tracking via Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Google Search Console for site issues and keyword performance insights.
• Plan, implement, and optimize Google Ads and CPC campaigns, including keyword research, bidding strategy, and in-depth reporting.
• Conduct advanced technical SEO audits: reviewing site structure, Core Web Vitals, indexation, and sitemaps.
• Build and maintain robust reporting dashboards in Looker Studio and GA4 Explorations.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement technical SEO best practices and support UX/UI enhancements (Magento Commerce experience a plus).
• Participate in campaign planning, technical project management, and performance optimization meetings.
• Lead and attend client status meetings focusing on analytics, technical reporting, and actionable recommendations.
Additional Technical Skills & Responsibilities (experience in these areas is a plus)
• Apply HTML & CSS basics for troubleshooting and minor web updates.
• Manage and update Content Management Systems (WordPress, Drupal, Magento).
• Design and analyze A/B tests and support conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Work with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) to manage and track campaigns.
• Perform social media analytics and reporting relevant to digital campaign performance.
• Utilize basic coding skills (Python/R) for report automation or advanced data analysis.
• Conduct UX/UI analysis using quantitative data to guide digital improvements.
• Integrate and manage eCommerce marketing data (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce).
• Support mobile marketing through mobile SEO, app analytics, and campaign measurement.
Who You Are
• 2+ years of professional experience in a technical digital marketing role (agency or client-facing preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.
• Skilled in using Google Search Console and executing technical SEO audits.
• Comfortable interpreting large data sets, identifying insights, and clearly communicating recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms (Magento preferred) and confidence working with development teams.
• Highly analytical, organized, and an effective communicator, especially in client-facing settings.
