The role:
We’re looking for a passionate Digital Marketing and Growth Executive to join our small team. This is a pivotal role at Yawn! As a proven digital marketing specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering new customer growth. This is a very hands-on role and suits a collaborative person who likes being accountable and seeing their impact. You will be creating, executing and managing online campaigns across various channels to promote Yawn’s products, profitably acquire new customers and increase brand awareness. You will also be responsible for improving our website, growing our CRM database and improving our understanding of our customers.
Main responsibilities:
• Developing overarching digital marketing campaigns for key sales, promotions, and product launches according to the Yawn content calendar
• Collaborating with the brand’s creative lead, briefing on requirements for content
• Responsible for managing the website experience in Shopify (briefing key projects into a web developer) and working on site SEO directly to ensure conversion rate remains strong
• Setting up and managing paid advertising campaigns (PPC) with a focus on our paid media channels of Google Ads and Meta, responsible for budget allocation to ensure new customer targets are met at a sensible CPA
• Planning, building, and scheduling email marketing campaigns weekly and improving email flows quarterly
• Consistently A/B testing email content, formats, and CTAs for optimisation.
• Optimising customer journeys, segmentation, and personalisation for email flows
• Scheduling and optimising social media via SkedSocial (content will be created by our creative lead)
• Managing affiliate and partnership relationships and campaigns and tracking performance
• Developing and optimising our loyalty programme, with a focus on customer retention
• Monitoring and reporting back to the team on overall KPI performance, working to constantly evolve and improve
What experience and skills you’ll need:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated digital marketing specialist, ideally from an in-house SME background but you may also come from an agency. You will have technical skills with proven experience of managing marketing campaigns across various digital channels with core skills in paid social and an understanding of profitably driving growth. You’ll also have the ability and know-how to track, monitor and report on overall performance, and then know what to do to improve performance. You’ll come with strong IT skills including MS Office, especially Excel reporting, and G-Suite.
You'll be excited about working as part of a hard-working small team within a growing and ambitious organisation. You’ll be a self-starter who is passionate about overseeing digital marketing, whilst contributing and collaborating more broadly when needed. We’re seeking a methodical and detail-orientated person with a knack for relationship building.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working for a B2C ecommerce business. Experience in the fashion sector would be beneficial, although not essential. We are based at the Barley Mow Centre in Chiswick, so you will need to live within an easy commute of the office as you will be working four days per week there (one day remotely from home) as part of our small team.
