About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Marketing Manager to join the IGN Store team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic digital marketing initiatives aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth for official IGN merchandise and collectibles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including editorial, video, and social media, to amplify store initiatives and align marketing efforts with broader company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in direct-to-consumer ecommerce marketing, with expertise in social media, influencer marketing, content strategy, and paid media campaigns. Your innovative approach and analytical mindset will be critical in optimizing marketing performance, enhancing customer experience, and contributing to the overall success of the IGN Store. Qualifications
โข 5-7+ years of experience in DTC ecommerce marketing, with a proven track record of success
โข Expertise in social media marketing, influencer collaborations, and content strategy
โข Hands-on experience with building, deploying, and optimizing paid media campaigns across search and social platforms
โข Proficiency with Martech CRM platforms (email, push notifications, etc.) and marketing automation tools
โข Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics tools, A/B testing, and campaign performance measurement
โข Excellent copywriting skills and ability to craft compelling messaging
โข Personal familiarity with current video games, comic books, and core aspects of geek culture
โข Experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms is a plus
โข Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
Responsibilities
โข Develop and implement comprehensive full-funnel marketing strategies, including brand awareness, performance marketing, CRM, and loyalty programs, to meet revenue and growth targets
โข Manage the marketing calendar and coordinate with internal teams to promote new product launches, sales events, and entertainment-related campaigns
โข Build and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, paid media, SEO/SEM, organic social media, affiliate partnerships, owned and operated channels, and push notifications
โข Collaborate with editorial, video, and social teams to amplify store initiatives and ensure cohesive messaging
โข Lead audience development efforts and optimize the sales funnel to improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
โข Analyze campaign data and e-commerce KPIs, providing regular reports and actionable insights to enhance marketing effectiveness
โข Offer feedback on product merchandising and product detail pages to improve user experience and conversions
โข Assist in budgeting and forecasting for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
