Digital Marketing Manager
(Full-Time, In-Office)
Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of Excelligenceβs email marketing channel across our brands, with a focus on Discount School Supply and Really Good Stuff. This role will manage campaign deployment, audience segmentation, personalization, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is hands-on with email platforms, highly detail-oriented, and passionate about driving customer engagement and revenue through lifecycle marketing.
Responsibilities
Email Strategy & Execution
β’ Plan, build, and deploy email campaigns, ensuring accurate targeting, segmentation, and creative execution.
β’ Manage promotional, triggered, and lifecycle email programs aligned to revenue and engagement goals.
β’ Partner with Brand, Creative, and Merchandising teams to align messaging with campaigns and product priorities.
β’ Maintain email calendar, balancing promotional and content-driven sends across brands.
Channel Optimization & Personalization
β’ Implement and optimize customer segmentation strategies to maximize engagement.
β’ Collaborate with analytics and CRM teams to leverage first-party data for personalization.
β’ Support integration of AI and martech tools to enhance relevancy and automation.
β’ Test subject lines, send times, and creative variations to improve open and click-through rates.
Analytics & Reporting
β’ Track and report on KPIs including open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue per send, and unsubscribe rates.
β’ Provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
β’ Monitor deliverability and list health.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
β’ Work closely with eCommerce, Brand Strategy, and Creative teams to support omnichannel campaigns.
β’ Partner with external vendors and martech providers for email platform optimization.
β’ Collaborate with paid media and SEO teams to align messaging and reinforce customer journeys across channel.
Key Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
β’ 4β6 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in email marketing execution.
β’ Hands-on experience with ESPs/CDPs
β’ Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and email automation best practices.
β’ Analytical mindset with experience using performance dashboards and A/B testing.
β’ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
