Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist with deep insights into the food and grocery retail sector, especially in fresh produce and fruits. You will lead digital marketing efforts that drive foot traffic, increase online and offline sales, and enhance brand visibility across all digital channels.
This is a key role requiring a mix of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and data-driven optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies tailored to the food & fresh produce market.
• Manage day-to-day digital campaigns including: SEO/SEM, Email marketing, Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) ,Display advertising, Create compelling content around: Weekly offers, Seasonal fruits/vegetables, Recipes and cooking tips, Health and nutrition trends
• Optimize the hypermarket’s website and e-commerce platform for search engines and user experience.
• Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and e-commerce dashboards.
• Manage digital advertising budgets and report on ROI and conversions.
• Align digital promotions with in-store offers and events.
• Run A/B testing for creatives, landing pages, and campaign elements to optimize performance.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention through email automation, loyalty programs, and CRM integration.
• Track competitor activities, industry benchmarks, and best practices in food and retail digital marketing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior in food/grocery shopping (especially fresh items) Proficiency with: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo) CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
• Strong grasp of SEO/SEM best practices, paid media, and retargeting strategies.
• Excellent communication, project management, and copywriting skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to seasonality, freshness, and visual merchandising.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a food, grocery, or supermarket environment.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and POS/digital payment system integrations.
• Familiarity with influencer collaborations, food bloggers, or YouTube/Instagram content partnerships.
• Google Ads, Google Analytics, or HubSpot certification.
• Basic understanding of Arabic (advantage, not mandatory).
