Role description
Digital Marketing Specialist - Remote (Finance) Job Overview: Manage the planning and execution of supplier marketing and advertising strategies, including digital, social, and print media campaigns, to support e-commerce operations. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Collaborate with Sales & Service, Professional Services, and Ad Group Managers to prepare and present digital marketing program proposals. Manage relationships with external solution providers for B2C program creation and servicing. Assist in creating content for social media calendars, website topics, email newsletters, and sales collateral. Support the Digital Shopper Marketing Manager in executing all supplier digital marketing campaigns. Develop and implement digital brand marketing campaigns, promotions, contests, and sweepstakes in partnership with suppliers, including creative development. Create and present campaign briefs to the creative team and project managers. Leverage retail process knowledge to bridge digital marketing with traditional marketing and in-store execution. Develop a strong understanding of assigned accounts, their consumer segments, and competitive environment to inform strategic planning. Present consumer marketing and advertising strategies to relevant audiences. Ensure all marketing elements are consistent with the overall brand image. Perform duties ethically and in accordance with company policies. Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements: Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least 2 years of retail marketing/advertising experience, preferably in grocery, including multimedia campaigns.
Other Skills/Abilities: Deep understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media for retail promotion. Basic knowledge of printing processes, layout, design, copywriting, and print distribution. Strong skills in advertising and sales promotion. Strategic and tactical planning abilities. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure. Effective problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office. Good judgment and independence in decision-making.
Physical Environment/Demands: Work primarily in a temperature-controlled office environment. Prolonged sitting at a desk or computer. Regular use of hands and arms, talking, and hearing. Possible stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching.
