Role description
Weβre seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to execute high-impact performance marketing campaigns across channels, leveraging data and analytics to drive measurable revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning strategy into action and optimizing every detail for maximum performance and business impact. This is a fully-remote contract role with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.
What Youβll Do
β’ Serve as day-to-day point of contact with our agency to plan, track, manage, and optimize paid media budgets to maximize performance and ensure efficient pacing and spend across channels.
β’ Monitor and analyze e-commerce sales and campaign performance, delivering daily sales updates, weekly summaries, and ad-hoc performance reports with actionable recommendations.
β’ Manage the marketing calendar and ensure flawless execution of campaigns.
β’ Serve as the central liaison between digital marketing and other functions (PR, social, affiliate, e-commerce, Product, etc.) teams to ensure seamless alignment of initiatives across channels, while also providing essential team support such as meeting coordination, capturing key action items, and managing follow-ups.
β’ Execute A/B testing and other CRO (conversion rate optimization) initiatives on ad-specific landing pages, reporting on results and next steps.
β’ Own the creative brief process and manage the flow of ad creative between internal teams and external agencies, ensuring rapid production, high-volume output, and continuous testing to maximize campaign performance.
β’ Lead SEO and AI Optimization (AIO) initiatives to ensure the brand and products surface in search engines and AI-driven platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini).
β’ Leverage AI-powered tools to improve campaign performance, streamline workflows, and scale creative production (e.g., copywriting, ad variations, reporting automation).
β’ Stay on top of digital marketing, ad platforms, AI tools, e-commerce, and creative best practices. Research, vet, and recommend new agencies, apps, and tools to enhance marketing performance.
β’ Collaborate on creative direction and copywriting for ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital assets, and ensure alignment with brand and product messaging.
β’ Develop dashboards and translate data into actionable insights to inform future marketing strategies, and provide analytical support for new marketing opportunities and initiatives.
What You Bring
β’ 3+ years of experience in relevant digital marketing roles, preferably with an e-commerce focus.
β’ Hands-on experience with digital marketing and analytics platforms: Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads/Meta Business Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, TripleWhale, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Impact, etc.
β’ SEO and AIO experience: Skilled at optimizing content for search engines and AI-driven platforms.
β’ Paid media/digital advertising knowledge: Strong understanding of search engine marketing, paid social, UGC campaigns, campaign measurement, and budget management.
β’ Experience with AI-driven marketing platforms and automation tools (e.g., Google Performance Max, Meta Advantage+, Jasper, ChatGPT, Canva Magic Studio) is a plus.
β’ Experience with CRO: Skilled at optimizing landing pages, running A/B tests, and analyzing site performance.
β’ Exceptional communication and collaboration skills: Able to confidently manage internal stakeholders and external agencies.
β’ Strong organizational and project management abilities: Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Proficiency with project management and communication tools: Slack, Asana (or similar platforms).
β’ Data-driven mindset: Comfortable building dashboards, interpreting performance metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rates), and making informed recommendations.
