Role description
ZAGG is looking for a Digital Merchandiser to join our fast-paced phone accessory business. In this role, you'll be responsible for optimizing the digital customer experience and performance of our product catalog including go-to-market execution and ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience. You'll combine your analytical skills with a keen eye for design and attention to detail to drive sales and maximize conversion rates.
Responsibilities:
Product Catalog Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product listings, including new product setup & registration, pricing, categorization, attribution, warranty and discontinuation. Ensure all product information is accurate, compelling, and up to date. Must be comfortable with import/export uploads for mass impact and data integrity.
Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute digital merchandising strategies in partnership with marketing to highlight key products, collections, and promotions. This includes creating product bundles, cross-sells, and up-sells to increase key web metrics.
Website Optimization: Continuously optimize product pages, category pages, and search results for discoverability, engagement, and conversion. This includes optimizing product imagery, videos, copy, & taxonomy. Partner with customer service for real-time customer feedback improvements.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, bounce rates, average order value, product views) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests on various merchandising elements (e.g., product imagery, placement, promotions, filters) to gather data-driven insights and optimize performance.
Inventory & Stock Management: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels are reflected online and to proactively address any potential stock-outs or overstocks.
SEO Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product content is optimized for search engines, driving organic traffic to product pages.
Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in digital merchandising to identify best practices and innovation opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
2-3 years in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or related role.
Hand-on experience with e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce, Shopify, or similar)
Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, HotJar).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
Basic understanding of SEO principals
Experience with phone accessories or consumer electronics is a bonus.
Requirements
Quarterly travel to ZAGG Corporate Headquarters expected for remote hires
Local hires are expected to work onsite approximately every other week for Digital Team Collaboration Days
