Role description
Title: Digital Products and Memberships Marketing Manager Location: Stamford Bridge Contract: Full time, Permanent About the role We’re looking for a data-driven and fan-centric Digital Product Marketing Manager to drive growth, engagement, and revenue across our suite of digital products — from the Chelsea Official app to emerging platforms and experiences. You’ll be part of a team at the intersection of marketing, product, and fan engagement, ensuring our supporters get best-in-class digital experiences that strengthen their connection with the club. Key Responsibilities • Drive acquisition, engagement and total revenues associated with our official Membership offerings • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the club’s mobile app, membership platforms, and other digital products. • Partner with the Digital Product team to own the digital product marketing calendar, coordinating across CRM, content and paid teams to drive fan adoption and engagement across digital product launches and updates • Plan and deliver targeted campaigns to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. • Develop briefs and partner alongside Creative Studio to develop creative campaigns and assets to drive digital product and membership awareness, engagement and conversion • Manage and report on key metrics associated with our digital products and related marketing campaigns, seeking to continually optimise awareness, engagement and a seamless user experience (UX). • Own all marketing-related activities of how the Chelsea Official App is represented on app stores and other gateways into the club’s ecosystem, including highlighting key features, ensuring all imagery is up to date and that release copy is accurate and on brand. • Track performance against KPIs and continuously optimise campaigns based on data-driven insights. • Synch regularly with Digital Product and Data teams to translate insights into actionable marketing campaigns. • Manage in-app promotions, onboarding journeys, web and app content marketing and push notification strategy, including fulfilment of supporter contests and other activations • Work closely with Commercial teams to unlock and prioritise new monetisation opportunities through digital platforms. • Manage planning and execution of owned and operated Ad operations, ensuring share of voice is appropriately allocated based on club priorities • Manage Digital Product budget, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive efficiencies and growth within budget • Define value propositions and positioning that resonate with fans globally. • Champion the fan experience, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the club’s values and brand. About You • Notable proven experience in digital product marketing, ideally with B2C-facing digital platforms (apps, membership products, etc). • Strong understanding of the digital marketing mix: CRM, lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, and app store optimisation. • Data-driven mindset with experience in performance reporting and campaign optimisation. • Excellent project management and organisational skills. • A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and alongside multiple stakeholders • Ability to see the bigger picture and develop the right strategies, and then work alongside cross-functional teams to execute and make them happen. • Ability to work to tight deadlines; an individual with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude who can thrive amidst dynamic conditions • Given the nature of working in football, may be required to work outside of traditional hours from time to time. • Knowledge of working within sport and/or football is a plus Our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: At Chelsea we recognise that the diversity of our people is one of our greatest strengths and we are taking positive action to ensure our existing colleagues and job applicants can fully be themselves and bring their own unique experiences and perspectives to Chelsea FC. This means giving full and fair consideration to all applicants regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership, and pregnancy and maternity. If you need reasonable adjustments made to the recruitment process, please reach out to your recruiter, who will be able to advise and support you. Chelsea FC is fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults at risk (vulnerable groups).
