Role description
Linkby is a global VC-funded adtech business that connects the world’s biggest ecommerce brands with the world’s leading publishers – including The Daily Mail, News Corp, Wirecutter, E! News, Condé Nast, Hearst, Katie Couric Media, Fox News and hundreds more. Our platform helps brands and publishers work together more profitably and effectively than ever before through a suite of performance-driven products and services. As we continue the rapid expansion of our global footprint off the back of a successful Series B raise, we’re looking for a senior business development leader to unlock new revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships with premium commerce partners, including traditional publishers, newsletters and creators. Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, you’ll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting growth opportunities - from signing new publishers to scaling existing relationships, and establishing new channels for growth. Please note that this is a hybrid role and three days are required in-office at our midtown office (Tues-Thurs). Key Responsibilities: • Lead Linkby’s publisher acquisition strategy across North America, identifying high-value opportunities to expand our footprint • Manage the full sales cycle for new publisher partnerships - from prospecting and pitching through to onboarding • Collaborate with the Publisher Partnerships team to ensure a smooth handoff and continued support of new partners • Build senior relationships within major publisher networks and media groups, expertly positioning Linkby as a solution to monetization challenges • Identify opportunities to deepen existing publisher relationships, working closely with the Publisher Partnerships Lead and their team • Represent Linkby at key industry events and conferences, generating qualified leads • Serve as a subject matter expert on commerce trends and content monetization, helping publishers and creators uncover new revenue streams • Stay across competitor offerings and market movements to effectively communicate Linkby’s point of difference • Apply the same strategic lens to BD growth in the UK and Australian markets, as time allows Required Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of experience in sales or business development specific to publishing or commerce • Strong understanding of publisher monetization models and content-to-commerce strategies • Excellent existing relationships with publishers in the North American market • Strong commercial and analytical instincts with the ability to identify untapped opportunities and close complex deals • Experience developing and delivering high-quality sales collateral and presentations to present to senior stakeholders • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional work • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for chasing down opportunities in a fast-paced, global environment Compensation & Benefits: • $140,000-$150,000 base salary + quarterly bonus and competitive ESOP (employee stock ownership plan) • Competitive 401k options with employer match • Health insurance: optical, medical, dental • Free breakfast, snacks, and happy hours at our office in Manhattan • Regular team get-togethers About Linkby: Linkby is a global VC-funded adtech business that revolutionizes the way established and emerging D2C ecommerce brands connect with leading publishers worldwide.
