Role description
Job Summary:
As the Director of Business Development– Supply Chain, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-quality vendors to the reLinkOnline.com platform. This role is central to expanding our catalog of medical equipment offerings—new, recertified, rental, PM, parts and repair services—by building strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and resellers. You will work cross-functionally with Product Information Management, Revenue, and IT teams to ensure vendors are aligned with our data, pricing, and promotional standards.
Responsibilities: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
1\. Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding:
• Identify and pursue new supplier partnerships in high-demand product categories (imaging, surgical, monitoring, supplies, lab etc.)
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and Partner agreements
• Educate vendors on reLinkOnline capabilities, processes, and benefits
• Manage onboarding from contract signing to product list delivery
2\. Catalog & Product Strategy:
• Collaborate with the PIM (Product Information Master) team to ensure complete, clean product data
• Align vendor catalogs to platform standards including pricing structure, product variants, and family mapping
• Monitor catalog gaps and actively pursue vendors to fill high-value or trending SKUs
3\. Performance & Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor partners
• Monitor vendor performance metrics (fill rates, lead times, return rates)
• Conduct monthly / quarterly reviews with key vendors and recommend adjustments
• Address any service issues, pricing conflicts, or customer complaints
• Work with vendors to drive awareness and product/service promotions
4\. Contracting & Compliance:
• Execute contracts, NDAs, pricing schedules, and participation agreements
• Ensure vendors comply with quality standards, delivery timelines, and data requirements
• Coordinate with legal and finance to manage risk and compliance
5\. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Revenue team to align vendor deals with marketing and sales initiatives
• Collaborating with IT and Order Management for seamless vendor integration and order flow
• Support buyer-facing initiatives by providing vendor insights and product availability
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required)
• 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, ideally in healthcare, medical device or B2b eCommerce.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and drive supply chain performance
• Strong understanding of catalog merchandising and digital marketplaces
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with CRM or ERP platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of medical equipment categories and vendor ecosystems
• Experience with Shopify, Channel Advisor, or similar commerce platforms
• Familiarity with eCommerce performance metrics (conversion rate, fill rate, cost per acquisition)
Key Success Metrics
• # of vendors onboarded monthly/quarterly
• % of vendor product data published live
• Average discount negotiated across SKUs
• Fill rate and vendor performance benchmarks
• Contribution to overall catalog GMV growth
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger,
handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to
walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee
must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Salary: $84K-$100K + 25% Var. Comp. – OTE $110K-$125K
