DIRECTOR OF CONTENT STRATEGY Type: Direct Hire Pay: $175,000 - $200,000 + 20% Bonus & RSU Plan Location: 95% Remote; must be able to meet in LA or OC with Team, VP, and Partners Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PT Industry: Distribution of Health & Wellness Supplements Company Information A global leader in health & wellness distribution, offering 25,000+ products to customers in over 170 countries. Job Summary Lead the development and execution of content strategies, with a primary focus on organic social media, to engage audiences and drive brand growth. Responsibilities • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business goals and target audiences. • Manage content creation, scheduling, and publishing across social media platforms. • Analyze content performance metrics to optimize strategies. • Lead and mentor the content and social media team. • Collaborate with internal teams for alignment and communication. • Monitor industry trends and best practices in social media and content marketing. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strategic thinker with experience in long-term content and social media planning. • Skilled in creating diverse content formats (text, images, video, infographics). • Expertise in social media platforms and best practices. • Proficient in analyzing content metrics and identifying improvements. • Strong organizational and project management skills. Tool Knowledge • Proficient with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social) • Skilled in content creation platforms – TikTok, Instagram, FB, YT • Familiar with Google Business Suite, project management tools (e.g., Asana), and emerging social technologies Experience Requirements • 6+ years in content marketing, social media, influencer, or digital marketing, ideally in global eCommerce • Experience leading large-scale social media campaigns, driving engagement, and increasing ROI • Proven success managing influencer partnerships and social commerce initiatives Education Requirements • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
