Title: Director, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Location: Fully remote, US. (We’re unable to sponsor visas, so we can only accept applications from people who have the right to live & work in the US.) Reporting to: CEO (+ part of SLT) Direct reports: None Working hours: 8 hours per day. (We ask all team members to be available during our core hours (10-4pm ET), with flexibility outside of that!) We are seeking a results-driven leader who prioritizes practical execution over theoretical planning. The ideal candidate wants to move beyond endless meetings and office politics to focus on hands-on implementation that drives tangible outcomes. This position requires someone who not only excels at designing cutting-edge CRM strategies but also has the ability and desire to execute them effectively. We need a self-starter who is excited to own their vertical from top-of-funnel acquisition to win-back campaigns. You will manage email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging with an opportunity to collaborate with the Director of Marking on page and in-app optimization. By joining our team, you'll work alongside other hardworking experts who are self-directed and require minimal oversight. Our management style focuses on providing encouragement rather than micromanagement. The ideal candidate must be willing to work independently, thrive in an autonomous environment, and excel at proactive problem-solving and creative collaboration. Key Responsibilities β€’ Full technical and strategic ownership of Iterable, including list architecture, segmentation, workflow design, event triggers, experimentation, data analysis in order to drive acquisition, retention and loyalty β€’ Proactively evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance and expand the company's CRM capabilities β€’ Provide clear, concise communication and regular reporting to management on performance and other strategic initiatives β€’ Collaborate closely with the Director of Digital Marketing Qualifications β€’ Proven success in a CRM leadership role with measurable results. β€’ Ability to design and execute sophisticated cross-channel campaigns using journey orchestration, dynamic segmentation and real-time personalization. β€’ Build complex workflows with advanced branching logic, implement dynamic content personalization, configure event-triggered campaigns with custom user properties and optimize send-time algorithms to drive measurable conversion lift across email, SMS, push and in-app messaging channels. β€’ Strong quantitative analysis capabilities with expertise in interpreting multi-touch attribution models, cohort analysis and behavioral segmentation to derive actionable insights that drive improvements in customer lifetime value, retention rates and campaign performance. β€’ Expertise in managing complex data ecosystems across CRM, CDP, and analytics platforms, with proficiency in data integration and API management to ensure data quality and optimize campaign performance. β€’ Prior experience with Iterable and Mixpanel preferred but not required. β€’ Hard-working, self-starter willing to take ownership of their vertical from conception to completion. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. β€’ Strategic mindset with a strong understanding of business objectives and how CRM initiatives drive overall company growth. β€’ Passion for customer experience and a commitment to fostering customer-centricity throughout all initiatives. β€’ Experience working at a startup and / or small company with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Reporting Structure The Director of CRM is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the CEO. This role will also work closely with Gabby Bernstein.
