Role description
Director, D2C E-Commerce About the Role: The Director, D2C E-Commerce will be a key member of the Sales Team, responsible for driving brand visibility and customer acquisition through RideJetson.com and paid media channels. You will oversee the entire digital customer journey, managing all stages of the funnel to grow the D2C e-commerce business. This includes leading site development, directing email/SMS initiatives, managing paid media efforts, and working closely with the Design and Content Teams to deliver a seamless, cohesive customer experience across every digital touchpoint. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: β€’ Lead end-to-end management of the Ride Jetson Shopify storefront including merchandising, seasonal updates, and campaign execution. β€’ Define and implement communication strategies for each stage of the digital funnel and key customer segments to improve conversion rates. β€’ Plan and execute D2C promotional calendar, including bundle tests, special offers, upsell strategies across Email, SMS, and Social Ads. β€’ Collaborate with creative teams to develop content assets and copy needs for digital channels, working in tandem with Head of Program Management on deliverable timelines. β€’ Set and achieve D2C KPIs, including conversion rates, bounce rates, click rates, and AOV - tracking performance against targets and implementing strategies to optimize results across the funnel. β€’ Maintain seasonal relevance of site (homepage, category pages, menu bar, featured products, product merchandising, and support page updates). β€’ Partner with Sales Ops/Logistics on order management (fulfillment and cancelations) and track and request inventory for D2C channel, ensuring accurate inventory management. β€’ Analyze site behavior and channel performance, reporting on insights, trends, and opportunities to drive ongoing improvement. β€’ Monitor site functionality, escalating issues and coordination timely resolutions with support teams. β€’ Work in partnership with Sales Operations Manager to ensure all product listings adhere to e-commerce PDP standards – improving upon image, copy specs, and layout requirements β€’ Work with CX to maintain Warranty SKUs, Policy Pages, and Support Articles. β€’ Manage digital ad agency relationships to optimize paid search, social, and other acquisition channels, aligning campaigns with broader marketing and business goals. Salary $150,000-$175,000 + 10-15% bonus
