The Role
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly analytical Director of Data Analytics, Marketing & Customer Insights to lead our analytics function, with a strong focus on testing, optimization, and actionable insights. Reporting to the CFO, this individual will partner closely with growth marketing, eCommerce, merchandising, and channel teams (including Amazon and Wholesale) to unlock scalable growth opportunities and drive data-backed decision-making across the business.
You will build a culture of experimentation, design testing roadmaps, and deliver insights that influence marketing investments, customer experience, merchandising strategy, and overall business performance.
What You’ll Do
• Focus on marketing performance, customer insights, and omni channel strategy.
• Design and implement a rigorous testing and optimization framework (A/B testing, multivariate testing, site and campaign optimization) to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Growth Marketing to optimize acquisition campaigns, channel mix, and budget allocation.
• Collaborate with eCommerce teams to improve conversion rates, site performance, and customer journeys.
• Provide merchandising teams with insights into product performance, pricing strategies, and assortment planning.
• Analyze marketplace and wholesale channel data (Amazon, retail partners) to optimize pricing, inventory allocation, and marketing support.
• Create attribution models and reporting frameworks to measure performance across all channels, informing investment decisions.
• Lead customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling to enhance personalization and retention strategies.
• Oversee the development and adoption of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools across teams.
• Serve as Analytics SME providing actionable insights to executives and cross-functional leaders, influencing business strategy.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
• Proven expertise in testing, optimization, and performance marketing analytics for DTC and omnichannel businesses.
• Experience analyzing and driving growth across marketplaces (Amazon) and wholesale/retail channels.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Google Analytics, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong modeling and forecasting skills, including experience in attribution, predictive analytics, and segmentation.
• Excellent communication skills with a talent for simplifying complex data and presenting actionable recommendations.
