Role Overview
SkyMirr is a high-tech startup company that creates products that maximize connection performance for the myriad of wireless applications that support our homes and businesses. We now are applying our technology and incorporating it into B2B and B2C electronic products. We are launching two new flagship products in the 2H 2025 that will have tremendous Small to Medium Business (SMB) market demand.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Digital Marketing to drive sales by demonstrating value in exciting ways into all channels and outreach methods with these new products. This role will involve developing, implementing, and managing our long-term marketing strategy, as well as executing short-term campaigns to bring awareness to our groundbreaking new products. The Director of Marketing will play a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, managing social media channels. You will be given the budget and resources necessary, then directly responsible for the execution of projects that you define.
Requirements for the role
· Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies utilizing a variety of tools into a multitude of channels, including websites, eCommerce platforms, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, and social media such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, and YouTube. Focus on SEO, Google Analytics, podcasts, vlogs, and blogs.
· Inject energy into our campaigns that make them as fresh and innovative as our products.
· Create and implement a distinctive social media strategy (both paid and organic) across all digital platforms to enhance engagement and increase brand visibility.
· Identify and work with social media influencers to trial and promote the new company products.
· Identify and work with media outlets to create relationship opportunities to showcase our new technology.
· Collaborate with the team to produce innovative content that reflects the brand’s voice, narrative, values, and overall aesthetic.
· Develop monthly content calendars that align with key product launches, culturally relevant events, and branded content series across all platforms.
· Propose and create timely content based on emerging social media trends and discussions.
· Continuously refine content strategies by analyzing Key Performance Metrics (KPMs), evaluating Return on Investment (ROI), assessing competitors’ digital presence, and leveraging the latest features.
· Research and track consumer purchasing behavior to inform marketing strategies.
Desired Background/Experience
· Direct and recent experience defining and executing a digital marketing strategy for a major new product launch. Be prepared to provide financial results.
· Deep connections/contacts with media, including both traditional as well as social and key influencers in our space.
· Demonstrated experience introducing cool new products to consumers as well as small businesses
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
· 10+ years of professional experience, depending on recent demonstrated success.
· Strong track record of delivering high-quality highly impact marketing campaigns.
