The Role
NextFoods is looking for a strategic, data-driven Director of E-commerce to lead digital growth across DTC, Amazon, and paid media for GoodBelly and Cheribundi. You’ll own the full digital P and Loss, guide performance across channels, and scale subscription, retention, and acquisition strategies with a sharp eye on profitability.
This is a pivotal hire for our lean team, ensuring digital channels grow in step with our retail ambitions. You'll be supported by strong agency partners and a direct report overseeing influencer and organic social, with the opportunity to grow your team as channels scale.

What You’ll OwnDigital Performance and Revenue
• Own the Profit and Loss and growth roadmap for DTC and Amazon, with accountability for topline revenue, channel profitability, CAC, LTV, and retention
• Lead goalsetting and performance reporting with clear KPIs and insights for senior leadership
• Build and manage subscription strategy across attach rate, churn, margin, and lifetime value
Channel Execution and Optimization
• Lead and optimize performance marketing across paid search, social, influencer, RMNs, and emerging platforms
• Oversee digital merchandising, promotions, CRO, and pricing architecture in partnership with brand, finance and sales
• Drive Amazon growth through PDP optimization, paid media, promotions, reviews, storefronts, and supply chain collaboration
• Own CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, and push with a focus on retention and personalization
• Oversee content strategy, influencer partnerships, and organic social through your direct report — ensuring alignment with brand priorities and performance goals
• Lead creative testing and new channel exploration; test aggressively, scale what works, cut what doesn’t
• Ensure platform excellence, brand consistency, and content performance across digital touchpoints
Go-to-Market and Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead digital execution for all product launches, mapping and supporting the consumer journey across paid media, site experience, email, and Amazon.
• Own the digital POV on pack and pricing strategy to ensure sustainable growth without channel conflict
• Own forecast and demand planning for digital channels, in partnership with ops and finance teams.
Team Leadership and Resourcing
• Manage agency partners across paid media, Amazon, lifecycle, and CRO
• Lead and mentor your direct report across influencer and organic social
• Recommend when to bring roles inhouse as channels scale and performance warrants it, making resourcing decisions grounded in ROI, efficiency, and longterm value
• Represent the digital commerce perspective in NextFoods strategic planning processes

You’ll Be Great in This Role If You Have…
• 710+ years in DTC, ecommerce and Amazon with full P&L ownership and strong crossfunctional chops.
• Deep fluency in performance media, CRM, analytics, and user experience
• Strong understanding of modern ecommerce and retention tools, including Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, and customer data platforms
• Built or led highretention subscription programs, with a strong grasp of how pricing, pack size, and ship frequency impact churn and LTV.
• Exceptional team leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic storytelling skills
• Proven ability to thrive in lean, fastmoving environments and build teams as the business scales
• CPG brand experience strongly preferred
