ABOUT THE ROLE The Director of eCommerce will lead the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy for BEISTravel.com and other digital sales channels. This role will be responsible for optimizing site performance, conversion rate, merchandising, digital UX, and site analytics, ensuring BEIS delivers an elevated, high-performing online experience. This role reports to the VP, Digital. We are a remote-first company, however, this role requires a Los Angeles residency for periodic in-person collaboration at our Hollywood office. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and own the eCommerce roadmap, aligning initiatives with business objectives and customer expectations. • Translate high-level strategies into actionable plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and KPIs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to prioritize and execute digital initiatives. • Monitor market trends, customer behaviors, and emerging technologies to inform roadmap decisions. • Collaborate with the cross-functional leads and the Demand Planning team on annual and quarterly revenue forecasts based on historical data, seasonality, market conditions, and marketing plans. • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly updates outlining website and mobile app performance trends and opportunities to executive leadership. • Track key performance metrics (e.g., CVR, AOV, ATC Rate, Cart Abandonment) to measure eCommerce success. • Own and manage the Organic Search strategy, roadmap and execution. • Leverage analytics tools and data insights to drive continuous improvements across the customer journey. • Lead A/B testing and CRO initiatives to maximize site performance and user experience. • Implement data-driven decision-making practices throughout the team. • Champion exceptional UX/UI across desktop, mobile, and app experiences. • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and platform partners to deliver solutions on time and within budget. • Align eCommerce initiatives with broader marketing and omnichannel strategies. QUALIFICATIONS: • 8+ years experience in eCommerce, ideally at a DTC lifestyle or consumer brand. • Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and eComm platforms/integrations. • Strong understanding of UX best practices, CRO, and mobile-first design. • Experience working closely with creative, product, and engineering teams. • Analytical and data-savvy, with comfort using Triple Whale or GA4 equivalent, heat mapping tools, and BI platforms. • Proven ability to lead and grow a high-performing digital team. • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills. BASE SALARY RANGE This position's base salary ranges from $150k to $165k annually. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location, and other relevant factors.
