Role description
Juniper Office is seeking a Director of eCommerce to architect and own the full online customer journey—from first touch through education and lead capture. This leader will oversee Juniper’s digital ecosystem, spanning eCommerce, performance media, SEO, and marketing technology, with a mandate to create a seamless, measurable, and scalable experience that fuels pipeline growth. Responsibilities: Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of Juniper’s Shopify site and digital channels, ensuring a frictionless journey that generates and captures high-quality leads for Sales. Lead and scale paid media programs across Google Ads and Meta in partnership with our external agency—unlocking growth through new campaigns, audiences, and creative approaches. Own the website roadmap, regularly bringing innovative ways to improve brand storytelling, merchandising, and lead capture on juniperoffice.com. Optimize site merchandising, including product listing pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs), to drive meaningful education, engagement, and lead capture. Build and refine the digital ecosystem—including SEO, SEM, site experience, analytics, and MarTech—to maximize lead flow across the funnel. Leverage data and insights to continually improve conversion paths, campaign effectiveness, and sales enablement. Define, track, and report on KPIs; develop dashboards that provide visibility into lead generation performance and inform Juniper’s broader marketing and business strategy. Operate as a hands-on leader in the early stages, with responsibility to eventually build, manage, and mentor a growing digital team. Work closely with the small but mighty Juniper team, including the Fractional Head of Marketing, Head of Sales, and Creative team. Collaborate with division owners to maximize resources and exchange insights, ensuring digital strategy supports the broader business. What Success Looks Like: Scaled paid media programs that predictably and efficiently drive more qualified leads to Sales. A Shopify site optimized as both a brand showcase and high-performing lead-gen engine, with PDPs and PLPs that engage and educate prospects. A dynamic website roadmap that consistently evolves messaging, storytelling, and site experience to better connect with customers. Strong cross-functional collaboration, ensuring digital insights inform business strategy and Sales/Marketing alignment. Transition from “one-person show” to leader of a capable, integrated digital team. Qualifications: 8–10 years of experience in eCommerce and digital marketing, with a track record of driving measurable growth. 3+ years of experience leading an internal performance marketing team or managing external paid media agencies. Proven success with B2B brands—building awareness, generating demand, and capturing leads online. Strong proficiency with Shopify and HubSpot; comfort working hands-on with digital platforms and data. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategies that scale media programs and improve funnel performance. Experience optimizing website content, merchandising, and customer journeys to balance brand storytelling with lead capture. Collaborative leader who can partner cross-functionally while also thriving as a hands-on operator in a lean environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to present digital insights that influence broader business and sales strategy.
