Responsibilities: • Hire, develop, and lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality, thoroughly tested product features in an agile environment. • Mentor and coach team members on design principles, coding practices, and testing techniques. • Drive platform modernization and oversee architecture decisions for scalable, high-performance solutions. • Collaborate with Product teams to deliver timely milestones and strategic initiatives. • Establish coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices to ensure technical excellence. • Oversee technical documentation, testing strategies, and incident response processes. • Contribute to codebases as a hands-on leader, setting an example for adopting best practices. • Balance user needs with engineering constraints to optimize delivery outcomes. Must-Have Skills: • 12+ years of technical leadership experience in large-scale, enterprise-level B2C applications. • Deep knowledge of consumer-facing web technologies, including the LAMP stack, Node.js, and Vue.js. • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in high-traffic environments. • Proficiency in designing and delivering cloud-native applications using DevOps principles. • Expertise in API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS. • Hands-on familiarity with asynchronous communication patterns for distributed systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex technical challenges. • Executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
