Essential Qualifications • CPA certification with an active license (MBA is not acceptable as a substitute). • Minimum 10 years of experience with operating companies (not big accounting firms), with 3-5 years of prior experience at a big accounting firm followed by private sector roles at multiple companies. • 5+ years of leadership experience in mid-size companies (e.g., $10M–$500M revenue) with responsibilities including P&L management, forecasting, banking relationships, and import/export/sourcing finance. • Proven experience in import/export/sourcing type businesses, with expertise in managing related financial risks and opportunities. • Demonstrated ability to work long hours and commitment to on-site work in Austin, TX. • Strong banking relationship management experience, including negotiations with financial institutions. • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and tools like Tableau or Salesforce. • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time management skills. • Ability to provide verifiable references from previous private sector employers. Preferred Experience • Direct experience with Amazon third-party selling, including fee structures, trade forecasting, and marketplace analytics. • Exposure to M&A, DEI initiatives, or process optimization in a mid-size company context. • Operational leadership in scaling finance departments with a focus on e-commerce and manufacturing. • Ability to identify problems beyond scope, perform diverse tasks, and thrive in a results-driven environment. What We Offer • Competitive salary and benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k), flexible PTO & holidays, cell phone stipend, and professional development training. • Opportunity for advancement to a higher leadership role based on performance. • A positive work environment with company-sponsored events in our Austin office.
