Title: Director of Marketing - Creative
Location: Remote - Must be based in Oregon, California, or Arizona
Salary: $125,000-$155,000
Company Profile: A consumer goods company is looking to add a Director of Creative Marketing to their team. This person will be responsible for leading the organization's marketing strategy, execution, and budget management, overseeing creative direction and marketing operations while managing a growing team and external partners. This person will develop and execute compelling storytelling, cohesive brand messaging, and creative assets aligned with customer journeys.
The Director of Creative Marketing will Be Responsible for the Following:
β’ Lead creative concept development, storytelling, and campaigns aligned with the company's brand vision, customer segments, and market insights
β’ Analyze customer personas and journeys to align creative assets with the marketing funnel, incorporating value propositions and selling points effectively
β’ Own and evolve the company's visual and brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency, innovation, and growth alignment
β’ Build and optimize marketing using advanced AI strategies including agents and workflows to automate tasks, drive conversions, and improve retention
β’ Lead go-to-market plans for new products, promotions, and launches across DTC and Amazon
β’ Build, develop, and lead the marketing team to support scalable growth while fostering a culture of creativity, execution, and continuous improvement
β’ Drive marketing as a key growth engine while maintaining operational discipline and cross-functional collaboration during scaling efforts
The Director of Creative Marketing Should Have the Following Qualifications:
β’ 10+ years in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in senior leadership roles
β’ Proven success in DTC eCommerce, CPG, or lifestyle brands with direct ownership of brand storytelling and creative campaign leadership
β’ Strong expertise in utilizing performance marketing metrics and creative testing to optimize campaigns
β’ Hands on experience leading go-to-market strategies for DTC and Amazon channels
β’ Experience leveraging AI technologies for marketing automation, customer segmentation, workflow optimization, and data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency and ROI
β’ Exceptional communication skills focused on clear, strategic, and timely alignment
This is a full time permanent position that will be fully remote and will require travel to the Shasta County, CA area (minimum 4x a year but can be more frequent).
